Dear Nandini Resort Management Team,
I would like to express my sincere appreciation and gratitude for the outstanding hospitality my mother and I experienced during our stay at Nandini Resort in Bali.
From the very beginning of our stay until the moment we departed, we were surrounded by kindness, genuine care, professionalism, and an extraordinary attention to detail. Every member of your team contributed to making our holiday truly special, and I believe their dedication deserves to be recognized.
Having worked in hospitality and customer service myself, I know that exceptional service goes far beyond simply fulfilling guests’ requests. It is about anticipating their needs, noticing the little things, and creating an atmosphere in which people feel genuinely welcome, comfortable, and cared for. Throughout our stay, I witnessed these qualities repeatedly, and I was genuinely impressed by the consistency with which your team demonstrated them.
Although I unfortunately did not learn everyone’s name, I would like to emphasize that my appreciation extends to every single employee, including the gardeners, maintenance gentlemen, pool maintenance staff, housekeepers, cooks and all those working behind the scenes. Even though I did not have the opportunity to interact with everyone on a daily basis, I noticed the effort, dedication, and care that went into maintaining the beautiful surroundings and ensuring everything ran smoothly. Not knowing someone’s name should never mean their contribution goes unrecognized, and I would not want those whose work was less visible to feel any less appreciated than those we encountered every day.
I would particularly like to acknowledge Miss Novita at the restaurant. From our very first day, she made the effort to remember our names and even took care to pronounce them correctly. As someone who understands how challenging it can be to remember and pronounce names from different cultures, I found this gesture especially thoughtful. Her kindness, politeness, and calm, positive energy made every interaction a pleasure, and she consistently made us feel welcome.
Mawar and Lestari at the restaurant, together with Eka and Antara at the bar, also took wonderful care of us throughout our stay. They consistently ensured our comfort, remembered our preferences, and anticipated our needs before we even had to ask. Whether it was preparing an extra stool for our handbags, making sure we had everything we needed at the table, or adjusting the ventilation when the weather became warm, their attentiveness never went unnoticed.
One particularly memorable example of their proactive approach was when rain was approaching. Before the first raindrops had even reached the ground, the team had already prepared umbrellas for guests to use. It was such a small gesture, yet it perfectly reflected the level of awareness and care that seemed to define your entire team.
I would also like to express my sincere appreciation to Mr Agus, who made a particularly positive impression on us throughout our stay. He regularly greeted us warmly, especially during breakfast, remembered us, and took the time to check whether everything was going well and whether we needed anything. Beyond these thoughtful gestures, he also recommended activities available at the resort and shared valuable insights into Balinese culture and local traditions, helping us appreciate our surroundings on a deeper level.
I am especially grateful for his assistance in arranging the preparations for our blessing ceremony. His willingness to help us experience something so meaningful made the occasion even more special. His genuine interest in ensuring that we enjoyed our stay, together with his efforts to introduce us to the local culture, demonstrated a level of personal care that went beyond what we would ordinarily expect as guests.
I would also like to recognize your wonderful wellness team, particularly Yoga, Novi, and Romi, who contributed so much to our relaxation and well-being. From the beautiful nail treatments to the incredibly relaxing river massage, every experience was delivered with professionalism, care, and attention to detail.
Throughout our treatments, they continuously checked that we were comfortable, that the massage pressure was right, and that the temperature suited us. They explained what to expect next, thoughtfully arranged umbrellas when needed, and ensured we were protected from the sun and comfortable at all times. Everything was prepared beautifully, and the cleanliness, presentation, and peaceful atmosphere made each experience even more special. They created a space where my mother and I could truly unwind, forget about the outside world, and simply enjoy the moment.
Another particularly meaningful experience was our blessing ceremony, during which Adnyani played an important role. Not only did she thoughtfully prepare the offerings, but she also took the time to explain each step of the ceremony, allowing us to understand and appreciate its significance. When my mother shared some of her personal experiences and emotions, Adnyani responded with genuine empathy, sensitivity, and understanding. Her warmth made the experience feel deeply personal, and it became one of the most memorable moments of our holiday.
What impressed me most throughout our stay was that this attentiveness was never limited to one department or a particular interaction. We were greeted warmly whenever we passed employees around the resort, welcomed with genuine smiles whenever we arrived for a meal, and treated with the same kindness and respect throughout our visit. Your team consistently demonstrated an awareness of the guests around them, whether by anticipating a need, offering helpful recommendations, ensuring our comfort, or simply acknowledging us with a friendly greeting.
These may seem like small details individually, but together they create an experience that feels exceptional. As someone who works in customer service, I know that such consistency does not happen by chance. It reflects dedication, teamwork, and a genuine understanding of what hospitality should feel like.
Finally, I would like to mention something that touched both my mother and me deeply: the way we were seen off at the end of our stay. Many employees took the time to say goodbye, and those around the reception even came together and stayed with us until we got into our car and departed.
It was such a heartfelt gesture that made us feel genuinely valued. In that moment, it no longer felt as though we were simply leaving a resort where we had spent our holiday. It felt as though we were saying goodbye to people who had become part of our experience and our memories, and who had made us feel, in a small but meaningful way, like family.
I could continue listing countless examples of the exceptional care we received, but what matters most is the impression your team left on us. Every greeting, every thoughtful gesture, every anticipated need, and every moment of genuine human connection contributed to an experience that went far beyond our expectations.
Nandini Resort should be incredibly proud of its employees. Such a consistently high standard of hospitality does not happen by chance. It reflects a team of people who take pride in their work, care about their guests, and understand that the smallest details can leave the greatest impressions.
I would be very grateful if you could share this message with the relevant management team and, most importantly, with all the employees who contributed to making our stay so memorable. Please extend our heartfelt thanks not only to those I have been able to mention by name, but also to every member of the wider team, including those working behind the scenes whose names I unfortunately did not learn. Every one of them played a part in creating the experience we will remember so fondly.
My mother and I left Nandini Resort with beautiful memories, deep gratitude, and the feeling that we had experienced something much more meaningful than simply a holiday in Bali. We will remember not only the beauty of the resort, but above all, the wonderful people who made us feel so welcome, cared for, and connected to the place and its culture.
